Even if you do not consider yourself a geographer, it is appropriate to present a paper or poster at this meeting if the paper has a geographic theme or elements. A topic is geographic if it considers place, space, or location or if it deals with human environmental interactions or the movement of people, goods, or services. Geographers deal with a tremendously diverse range of topics from biogeography to historical geography, urban neighborhoods to soils and landforms, culture, to climate and water issues. If you have any doubt about the appropriateness of your topic, or have any other concerns, just give me a call at 603-535-2213 or send an email to the above address.
